My interests in ministry are spiritual formation, discipleship, and preaching. In spiritual formation, I am interested in how we as individuals and groups grow in Christ-likeness. Similarly in discipleship the focus is on following Christ, being the hands and feet of the one who came to serve, not to be served. In preaching, I want to proclaim the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. I also want help the local church to see the Biblical narrative as our story, a story that is continuing through the present time.

- To gain a position in ministry, where I can serve the Kingdom of God and the local church through proclaiming God’s love through Christ, teaching His word, equipping His followers, and reaching out to the local and global community.

- Earned Master of Divinity degree in December of 2006

Personal
- Family: My wife (Necia) and I have been married for 8 years. We recently welcomed our first child into the world, Liliana. Necia and I met while students at Abilene Christian University and both pursued graduate studies in the Portland, OR metro area. Necia is a Pediatric Physical Therapist and with the arrival of our daughter desiring to work less and be at home more. I am currently working at the Everett Gospel Mission and Operation Nightwatch in Seattle. These are temporary and part time positions, therefore currently looking for a permanent position in ministry.
